OOAK cold porcelain doll by Olga Uvarova at Lėlių Festivalis 2026, Vilnius

ArtBeautyDolls at Lėlių Festivalis 2026 — International Art Doll Exhibition in Vilnius

This August, ArtBeautyDolls by Olga Uvarova took part in Lėlių Festivalis 2026, an international art doll exhibition held in Vilnius, Lithuania.

The festival took place from August 21–23, 2026 at the Polish House of Culture in Vilnius and brought together more than 70 doll artists from different countries.

For three days, the exhibition became a meeting place for artists, collectors, and people who share a love for handmade dolls, OOAK art dolls, and unique collectible art.

A Weekend Surrounded by Art Dolls

For Olga, Lėlių Festivalis was an opportunity to present a selection of her handmade collectible dolls in person and become part of a wider international community of doll artists.

Each ArtBeautyDoll is created completely by hand from cold porcelain / Flumo, with individually painted faces, custom glass eyes, natural goat hair wigs, handmade clothing, and movable ball-jointed bodies.

At the exhibition, visitors could see the dolls up close, discover the small details that are difficult to capture in photographs, and experience each character as a complete piece of art.

The ArtBeautyDolls display featured several OOAK characters, each with her own expression, clothing, hairstyle, and personality.

Every Doll Is Created Only Once

One of the most important ideas behind ArtBeautyDolls is that every doll is one of a kind.

There is no mass production and no identical copy waiting to replace a sold doll. Each character is individually created by Olga Uvarova from start to finish.

The sculpting, casting, sanding, painting, assembling, styling, and clothing are all part of one handmade process.

Custom glass eyes are made to order in Verona, Italy, while the wigs are created from natural goat hair. Each finished doll also receives her own passport and certificate of authenticity.

For collectors, this means owning not simply a decorative doll, but an original handmade art piece with its own identity and history.

About Lėlių Festivalis 2026

Lėlių Festivalis is an international exhibition dedicated to artist-made dolls and contemporary doll art.

The 2026 event brought together more than 70 creators from Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Poland, Ukraine, Germany, France, Italy, Israel, the Czech Republic, and other countries.

The exhibition included handmade works created in a wide variety of techniques and artistic styles — from traditional dolls to contemporary and experimental pieces.

For visitors, it was also a rare opportunity to meet the artists themselves and learn more about how their dolls are created.

A Special Moment for ArtBeautyDolls

Taking part in an international doll exhibition is not only about displaying finished work.

It is also about meeting collectors, exchanging ideas with other artists, discovering new techniques, and seeing how different creators interpret the world of collectible dolls.

Olga returned from Vilnius with new impressions, inspiration, and a diploma confirming her participation in the international exhibition.

For ArtBeautyDolls, events like Lėlių Festivalis are another step in sharing handmade doll art with collectors beyond Latvia.
